Apologetics with Alecs

Sometimes, teachings that sound “Christian” can be misleading. For years, I found myself absorbing messages that felt spiritual but missed the truth of scripture. I became part of a group that distorted Biblical teachings in ways that were ultimately hurtful and confusing. They added their interpretations to God’s Word, leading me to doubt God’s love and even my faith. It was only when I studied scripture on my own that I realized the truth. Romans 12:2 speaks of renewing our minds, which was exactly what I needed to do. Breaking free was painful, but it deepened my understanding of God’s love and truth.
