Growing up, I had a performance-driven view of God. I thought that being “good” enough would earn His favor. But as I began to truly study the Bible, I encountered the transformative concept of grace. Ephesians 2:8-9 explains that salvation is a gift from God, not something we can earn. Realizing that Jesus loves us not because of what we do but because of who He is changed everything for me. It brought a new freedom, knowing that grace isn’t about trying harder but about accepting what Jesus has done. This realization has been a cornerstone in my journey back to a Biblical worldview.
